比较级

单音节加 -er + than；多音节用 more + 原级 + than

不规则变化

good/well → better → best · bad/badly → worse → worst

比较范围

in + 地点（最高级）· than + 比较对象（比较级）

比较级与 than 搭配：larger than Joe's（✓）／larger that Joe's（✗）；than 后面省略重复的名词时用所有格 Joe's。
最高级前必须加 the：the most beautiful garden · the worst garden。
hard 与 hardly：hard（努力地）→ harder（更努力）；hardly 是「几乎不」，意思完全不同。
