1Last Christmas /'krɪsməs/ n. 圣诞节, the circus /'sɜːkəs/ n. 马戏团 owner, Jimmy Gates, decided to take some presents /'preznts/ n. 礼物 to a children's hospital.

2Dressed up as Father Christmas and accompanied /ə'kʌmpənid/ v. 陪伴，随行 by a 'guard of honour' of six pretty girls, he set off down the main street of the city riding a baby elephant called Jumbo.
